what if the meaning in life is the one we create

We start grieving the moment we’re born. With each passing second, we leave behind things we liked or loved about that time or age. In the moment, it’s a natural progression through our life, our blip in space, our finite breaths. In retrospect, it’s a heavy weight to bear at times. Losing loved ones, losing friends, losing your childhood home or your hair. Our life is based on the disintegration of our being. But we can do more than simply hope our legacy amounts to more than the dead cells that dance in a glint of sun before settling as dust on our dresser. We can create it.
